The 10th Gen iPhone, the iPhone 8 aka ‘iPhone Edition’ or ‘iPhone X’ or ‘iPhone 10’ or ‘iPhone Pro’ smartphone is rumored to arrive this year, apple iPhone’s 10the year anniversary. Rumor has it that iPhone 8 will feature a vertical dual rear-facing camera that will be more powerful than the already great iPhone 7 Plus camera, wireless charging, an all-glass body with OLED full vision display, Facial recognition and new apple A11 chip. It’s also rumored that this iPhone model will come in four colors including the Mirror-Like model.

Last year, Apple killed the headphone jack with the launch of the iPhone 7 and this year Apple could be set to remove the Touch ID fingerprint scanner feature from iPhone lineup. According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 8 will be available in three different sizes, including 4.7-inch, 5-inch and 5.5-inch models. If Apple does release the glass casing, it may be slightly heavier than an aluminum one of the same thickness in apple iPhone 5/6/7 models, but the difference is expected to be small and may not be noticeable with the use of the lighter and thinner AMOLED panel from Samsung. Samsung is building the world’s biggest OLED display manufacturing plant. According to the recent reports, Samsung Display has secured production capacity of 135,000 OLED panels per month over the next two years, primarily to serve the needs of its two biggest clients: Apple and Samsung Electronics

Over the past few months, several iPhone 8 clones have popped up in the market, one of the most publicized is the one showing the “Unboxing A Chinese iPhone 8 Clone” by the EverythingApplePro available on YouTube. Hopefully it’s not a true physical clone as it’s not like iPhone 8 we expect from Apple but we are sure there is more to come until the final release from Apple and that will keep the rumor mill going.
